At school, Michael is an instant hit. He is chased constantly by girls and must rely on Miki for help. When Yuu decides to study abroad, he is enrolled in Michael's school (talk about the irony.) Michael takes over as tutor for Suzu and remains constant in his pursuit of Miki.

Michael Grant is a foreign exchange student from the United States. He stays with Miki and Yuu's family for the duration of his stay in Japan. He falls for Miki and vows to make her his girlfriend despite the fact she is not interested. He doesn't realize Miki and Yuu are dating and makes advances towards her in his presence. His blonde hair, light blue eyes, and innocently charming personality immediately wins over the family.
