Tsuchiya Reiji is Kei's father. He is determined to force his son to develop his talents and this causes problems in their relationship. After Kei leaves home to find himself, his father realizes the importance of allowing Kei to find his own love for the piano. Reiji thanks Miki for bringing Kei out of his shell and into maturity.
