Yuu, realizing that he is not Youji's son, seeks Miwa and the two confront Miwa's father. Miwa Yoshimitsu denies ever having a sexual relationship with Chiyako even though he wanted to. Yuu is not his son.

 

Miwa Yoshimitsu, Satoshi's father, is a famous architect. He is always busy and seldom has time for his wife and son. Miwa, like his son, has a roaming eye and has had many affairs against his marriage. His wife wrote in her diary that she believed he had slept with one of his employees, Chiyako. Miwa read this diary entry and believe that Yuu might be his brother.
