Side Effects of a Kiss.  He Doesn't Understand my Feelings.

Miki is over dramatizing her kiss with Yuu.  She stayed in her room 
all night so she would not have to face him and in the morning before
school she acts very nervous.  During breakfast she asks Yuu to pass
her the apricot jam, and he gives her Marmalade, saying it is all they
have.  She says she doesn't like it and he tells her not to be so 
picky. She then tells Yuu that he is like Marmalade!  She says he 
looks good on the outside but that on the inside he is full of tricks
"You're a Marmalade Boy, for sure!"  and she is very proud of her
witty comparison ^__^

Yuu then tells Miki she is hot and spicey...just like mustard, a 
mustard girl.  Miki gets angry and yells at him and he runs off, say-
ing they will be late for school.  She is left with cleaning up!
In school Miki sits pondering over the kiss.  She decides she will
just forget that it happened.  Then on "Lunchtime News" a school
TV show, Yuu makes an appearance.  When asked what his relationship
with Miki is, he casually replies that they live together.  Miki, 
who is watching the program runs to the station and yells at Yuu 
and the host of the show for over dramatizing things.  Ginta seems
to be very annoyed by all this.

During chemistry class Miki remembers a time when she was in love
with Ginta.  She wrote him a letter telling him how she felt about 
him.  She overheard his friends reading it and asking him what he
was going to do.  He replied that there was nothing serious between
he and Miki.  Then he saw Miki and jumped up to run after her, but 
ran away.  She was very upset that he had shown her letter to his
friends and cried.  After that, Ginta came to school with his hair 
cut off, a sign of disgrace in yourself.  Yuu sees Miki watching 
Ginta, probably thinking she likes him.

At home, Miki is still thinking about the kiss with Yuu.  Chiyako
comes in and asks Miki to come down and have cake with them. She 
also gets some help with her math work from Youji.  Miki begins to
relax with the "strange" family, and forgets to be opposed to it.  
She realizes this and runs upstairs, mad that she allowed herself
to laugh with her family.

At school she plays some tennis to try to forget about the things
that are bothering her. But then Yuu drags her off to go shopping.
He reminds her that it is her mother's birthday, and so they get her
a nice pair of earings.  Miki decides that she does like Yuu, but 
that night, as she is cleaning, she finds a picture of Yuu with a
girl.  She gets flustered and wonders who it is...
