They have decided that Miki is right and they cannot live together anymore. No one is talking and a broken vase is lying in the floor. Miki's father tells Miki and Yuu to go to their rooms. They go to a cafe instead. Yuu and Miki realize they are having serious problems. Miki does not like the situation, but she wants everyone to be happy. Ginta sees them from a distance and looks concerned. When they return home, the fighting is still going on. The parents decide they have made a mistake and want to move out. Everything can go back to as it was before. Miki barges in and demands to know what is going on. Her father apologizes for putting her in this situation to begin with. She is infuriated at the thought of her life being disrupted again. She cannot fathom not seeing Yuu again. She explodes as them for giving up so easily. Her parents are curious about her change of heart. She tells them that although she thought the situation is strange, it appears as if everyone is happy and it is not right to cut off relationships. She admits she doesn't want things to change. The parents rejoice as their little scene worked. They convinced Miki that she wants the household to work. Miki cannot believe what they did to her. Yuu guessed it all along as they are bad actors. Miki finally freaks out, storms to her room, and cries! No one can calm her down and she will not open her door. Yuu finally climbs through her window just as she is planning to run away from home. His surprise entrance stopped her from crying. He kneels down to her and wipes away her tears and tells her that it hurts when someone lies to her. They were wrong to make her admit her feelings, but they were all worried about her now. Can she forgive them. He smiles his sweet smile and offers a hand to help her up. She then realizes that while he teases her, he is really kind. They both leave her room together to see the parents relieved that someone got through to her. Chiyako enters her room later to bring a small apology gift to Miki. Her company is designing cosmetics for young girls, and she wanted Miki to try them. Miki admits to her that she is jealous of Arimi's adult presence. Chiyako tells Miki that not everyone can wear just any fragrance. She will find a fragrance that is right for her.
