Marmalade Boy Episode 13 Koi to yuujou Ginta, Arimi-san to tsukiatte! Love and Friendship. Ginta please take Arimi! Miki comes back from taking a shower. She remembers Ginta's ultimatum. She picks up her tennis racquet and remember all the fun times that involved tennis. She begins to write to Meiko that she realizes that both Yuu and Ginta are important to her and she will tell Ginta her decision tomorrow. The next day at school Ginta looks nervous. He is afraid he has forced Miki into a decision that will not be in his favor. He needs the confusion time to get closer to her, but he ruined that. Miki approaches him and he is noticeably nervous. They go for a walk. She tells him that she truly cares for him, but also has feelings for Yuu. She is confused so she cannot go with him. He doesn't care that she has feelings for Yuu because he is sure she will forget him once they are together. She wants him to go with Arimi even though she can't stand the though of them together. She doesn't want to keep him from having a great girlfriend. He realizes that he cannot tell her that their relationship was a hoax. Ginta realizes that he should have not pretended to be someone else's boyfriend. Miki is playing tennis with her friend Chigiusa. Ginta watches her from the sidelines. We see that he has her picture in his medallion. He is debating on whether or not to tell her. Meiko is in the library and Miwa is sitting nearby, staring at her. Once again he showers her with praise. Namura-sensei approaches them. He gives an excuse that he has to go to a meeting. Miki and Meiko are eating at a cafe. Miki is faking being happy, but she is worried about her decision. Meiko tells her not to worry and that Yuu is like a breath of fresh air for her. She is just used to Ginta always being there. On her way home, Meiko runs into Namura-sensei. She tells him not to worry that it is perfectly natural for a teacher and a student to walk together. She becomes depressed and he reminds her that it is only two years until she graduates. [Eyecatch] Miki walks home along. We see different scenes of the city. She stops in her favorite store, but it doesn't cheer her up. She feels numb. She decides it is time to go home and wonders if Yuu is there. On her way she sees Arimi. Arimi comments that she has her hair down and she looks more mature. She is on her way to spend the night at Ginta's house, but before she can tell Miki that she is joking, Miki has disappeared. On the train, the previous moment replays in her mind. [Moment plays as she walks home.] She can finally is happy with the situation, but is worried that Arimi will not stay with him. While the music plays we see different scenes from her childhood with Ginta. She admits that he is her best male friend to be so honest with her. She knew it would be like this, but she feels so alone. Ginta waits outside of her house, working up the courage to ring the bell. He finally admits that he has been lying to her. She tells him that Arimi is waiting for him at home and he should go home to her. He is openly surprised that Arimi would be at his house. He tells her that everything was an act and that they only wanted to make them jealous. She falls backward from the shock and tells him that she has been so miserable because she thought they weren't friends anymore. He grabs her in an embrace, but she pushed him away. He tells her that she makes him feel that way. She yells at him not to rush her. Just as they are about to kiss, Yuu stops them. He demands that he doesn't do anything like that with his family in public and takes Miki inside. Miki wonders why he stopped her. What is his true feelings?
