Meiko no himitsu Hanashite hoshikatta..
Meiko's Secret; I Want You to Share Your Feelings

Miki is sitting in her room thinking about Arimi kissing Yuu. She's driving
herself crazy thinking about Yuu and Ginta.  She tries to call Maiko but
she isn't there.

The next morning Miki leaves early for school because she is avoiding walk-
ing with Yuu.  At school Miki notices Meiko's empty seat and wonders if she
is ok.  Then Meiko walks in, followed closely by Namura-sensei. At the start
of class Meiko and Namura-sensei share a veiled look.  At lunchtime Miki
notices Meiko is missing again, then Yuu smacks her in the back of the head
with the lunch she forgot.  In the library Meiko is standing behind a book-
shelf, apparently waiting for someone.  She hears someone walk in and turns
happily, then her face falls as she sees it is Miwa-san.  He asks her if she
is waiting for a boy or a girl.  "I'll leave that to your imagination."

After eating lunch alone, Miki wonders what is going on with Meiko. Then she
overhears some girls gossipping about Yuu and Arimi.  She wonders why Yuu
doesn't have any really close friends. Then she sees Ginta motion for her to
come with him up to the roof. They talk for a bit and Ginta tells Miki he
decided to wait for her to decide that he is better than Yuu. Then he gets
all excited and yells  abit and they both get flustered and stand slilently.
Ginta then tells Miki that the boys' tennis team has noticed Miki's legs are
getting thicker o_O  They make a bet that the boys will/will not do well at
the upcoming tennis tournament. Miki is very happy that they are talking like
they used to.

A short scene with some very serious looking adults walking towards the princ-
pal's office.

During tennis practice Kyoto-sensei asks Namura-sensei to come with her. In the
principal's office Namura-sensei is told that some PTA members had come to tell
them...

[eye catch]

The next morning Miki and Yuu walk  to school together.  When they arrive
everyone is whispering among themselves about something. Miki asks what is going
on. Theytell her that Namura-sensei and Meiko have been dating... SHOCK! Miki
had no idea and was told that Meiko was in the principal's office. Miki couldn't
believe that Meiko hadn't told her about this.  Then Meiko walks in and takes
her bag, and as  she is leaving she tells them that she has been suspended for a
while.  On her way out of school she sees Miwa-san and tells him that this is
the reason why she has been refusing him.  Miki and Ginta run to see Namura-
sensei, but Kyoto-sensei sends them back to class.

Ryoko-sensei tries to make Namura-sensei feel a littl better by teasing him about
it.  After school Miki runs to Meiko's house and Miki and Meiko take a walk
together. Meiko tells Miki its true that she and Namura-sensei are dating and that
she did stay the night at his apartment, but that everyone has the wrong idea
about it.  She explains the reasons why she went to him and that nothing happened
there, except that he held her hand until she fell asleep.  Then Meiko starts
crying because she is afraid Namura-sensei will get fired because of her.  Then
she says she didn't know where else to go.  Miki wonders why Meiko didn't even
think of coming to her.  Miki asks Meiko how long she and Namura-sensei have been
dating...since she was half way through ninth grade.  Miki tells Meiko that she is
a bit surprised that she didn't trust her enough to tell her this secret,
"I thought we were best friends."

"Do I nee to tell you everything because we are friends?  Does 'Best Friends' mean
you tell all your troubles and share all your comfort?  If that's what you think, I
don't want that kind of friend."

[Moment plays]

Miki stands up real slow and then runs away crying.  Meiko calls after her but Miki
doesn't stop.  Miki runs up to her room and slams the door.  Yuu follows her and
knocks on her door over and over, asking if she is ok.  Miki doesn't answer, just
sits in her room crying...
